I work as a VP, Functional Learning and Development Team at Northern Trust. I have been associated with Northern Trust from 2007 and have a career spanning in total -for over 20 years. My current role includes, consulting and client servicing, design and development, L&D projects management and mentoring and coaching. As a professional, my team or clients will describe me as a kind, compassionate and courageous person.
Outside of work, I live a glorious middle class life with my day to day struggles and successes, am legally separated, mother to a 10 ½ year old girl, sole caregiver to ageing family members, a fitness enthusiast (completing several intercity runs and long-distance runs) and recently published my first poetry book which is now available on Amazon ( India). I was diagnosed with depression in 2022 but refused to take medication and instead turned to psychosomatic sessions, continuing my ongoing healing process. In my conscious journey of making a difference to myself, my child and people I connect with, I learnt that the world has a dearth of good touch, a pair of good listening ears, a lack of sense of belonging and paying happiness forward. My recent passion for doodling for happiness has been a fabulous game changer for me personally and someday I aspire to doodle, tell stories, write short stories, continue to pay happiness forward as much as I can and live a happy family life!
